Two versions, one principle
Both only speak up when your check-in doesn’t arrive. The difference is flexibility. Prices apply in Switzerland. In other countries, the App Store and Google Play show an adjusted price in your local currency.
Free: CHF 0
A daily check-in on a fixed rhythm, a reminder to you, and an email to one trusted contact if the check-in doesn’t arrive. Location at check-in included, if you want it. Not time-limited, no ads.
Plus: CHF 3 a month
Up to 20 contacts in three groups. A rhythm every 8 or 12 hours and a weekly schedule. Snooze reminders by 15 minutes, pause mode for travel. Renews monthly, cancellable for the end of the month.
Plus yearly: CHF 30 a year
The same as Plus, paid once a year. Equivalent to CHF 2.50 a month, CHF 6 less than twelve months at CHF 3. Renews yearly, cancellable for the end of the year.
For your contacts: free of charge
Trusted contacts never pay anything. They need no app and no account, just an email address.

What we promise
A check-in app runs on trust. So this holds:
- Nobody is rolled into a paid subscription automatically. You only get Plus if you actively take it out.
- You don’t need a subscription for the daily check-in with one trusted contact.
- We earn our money from Ondira Plus, not from your data. No ads, no data sales.
- You can cancel through the App Store or Google Play whenever you like, no reason needed, effective at the end of the current term.
Frequently asked questions about pricing
How much does Ondira cost?
The free version costs nothing and is not time-limited. Ondira Plus costs CHF 3 a month or CHF 30 a year. You only need a credit card if you take out Plus, and even then payment runs through the App Store or Google Play.
Is there a free check-in app?
Yes. With the free version you check in daily on a fixed rhythm, and your trusted contact gets an email if the check-in doesn’t arrive. You only need Plus for several contacts, shorter rhythms, a weekly schedule or pause mode.
How do I pay for Ondira Plus?
Only through the App Store or Google Play, with the payment method you have set up there. We never see or store card or bank details. The price the store shows you before you buy is the one that applies.
How do I cancel Ondira Plus?
Plus renews automatically for the chosen term unless you cancel beforehand. You cancel through the platform you subscribed on: on iPhone via subscription management in the App Store, on Android via Google Play. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term, and refunds follow the platform’s rules. Note that deleting your account does not cancel a running subscription automatically. Statutory termination and refund rights and the refund provisions in our terms remain unaffected.
Can I get a refund if I no longer need Plus?
Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term. Refunds go through Apple or Google where possible. If we discontinue the Service or permanently withdraw access through no fault of yours, we refund prepaid services no longer provided proportionately. Contact support@ondira.app if the store cannot help. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
What happens when I end Plus?
At the end of the paid term, all Plus features end and you are back to the basic protection of the free version: a daily check-in, a reminder to you and an email to one trusted contact. You are not moved into any other plan.
Do my contacts have to pay?
No, never. Trusted contacts only need an email address. They can use the app voluntarily but don’t have to buy anything.
Is there a family account?
No. Everyone who checks in uses Ondira with their own account and sets their own rhythm and contacts. People who are only notified need neither an account nor a subscription.
For businesses and teams
Ondira has no team or admin features and no business terms. Each person uses the normal app, free or Plus, at the same price as everyone else: CHF 3 a month or CHF 30 a year per person. Colleagues or a manager are added as trusted contacts.

About our prices
All prices are final prices in Swiss francs for purchases in Switzerland, including any VAT. In other countries, the App Store and Google Play show an adjusted price in the local currency. The price shown to you in the store before you buy is the one that applies.
Ondira Plus ordinarily renews for one month or one year. Purchases and ordinary cancellation go through Apple or Google. Changes to existing agreements follow our terms and require the consent specified there. Statutory termination and refund rights remain unaffected.
Prices of other providers, for example for a personal alarm, come from their publicly available price lists, as of October 2026. They are a selection, not a complete market overview, and given without guarantee. The services and prices differ; the providers’ current information is binding.
